Our founder Dwayne Rose was the heart and soul of APC. His passion for fitness, infectious energy, and genuine love for people shaped the atmosphere of the gym from the very beginning. He brought joy, motivation, and a sense of fun into every space he entered, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who trained alongside him. Dwayne believed deeply in building others up, creating community, and making fitness something people looked forward to. Today, we carry his spirit forward in everything we do, honoring his legacy through the energy, culture, and community that continue to define APC. Sebastian’s introduction to fitness began long before he stepped into the industry. As a competitive football player, he developed an early understanding of athletic discipline, strength development, and performance under pressure. At the same time, he immersed himself in calisthenics and powerlifting, building a blend of bodyweight control and raw strength that would later shape his coaching philosophy.
With over eight years of professional experience as a Strength Coach and PTA, Seb now brings that foundation into every client relationship. He specializes in calisthenics, strength and conditioning, and rehabilitation-focused training, creating programs that merge athletic skill, structural balance, and evidence-based progression. His background allows him to work seamlessly with both athletes and general population clients—whether the goal is mastering advanced bodyweight skills, building powerful and sustainable strength, or returning to full capacity after injury.
Sebastian is known for his detail-oriented approach, long-term mindset, and ability to help clients move better than they ever have. His coaching emphasizes precision, resilience, and performance, making him a trusted resource for anyone committed to real, measurable progress.

Nirushan is a graduate from Queen’s University’s Physiotherapy program. His prior education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Biology from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from York University. Through a decade of education, he can create a holistic picture of his clients and their conditions, which serve to guide the best treatment approach. Having worked as a physiotherapist in British Columbia and Ontario, Nirushan has worked with various clients including individuals with orthopaedic injuries, motor vehicle
accidents, work injuries, athletic injuries, and post-operative (knees, hips, shoulders). His treatment style is a combination of manual therapy and exercise prescription, with an emphasis in functional and athletic training/recovery. He has training and experience using joint mobilization techniques, Mackenzie techniques, taping, active tissue release, and dry needling. Outside of the clinic, Nirushan is part of the Executive Committee for the Global Health Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, where he hopes to use his training as a physiotherapist to help underserved communities. In his free time, Nirushan enjoys spending time with his family and friends, watching new TV shows, going to concerts, hiking, lifting weights, keeping up with basketball, soccer, and tennis news, and learning about fitness, nutrition, diet, and new exercises.
